Listening to young people
Young people may grow up in different settings, but many share the same hopes: access to education, useful skills, decent livelihoods and the opportunity to shape decisions affecting their lives.
Basecamp Foundation Kenya works alongside communities to strengthen pathways for youth through learning, mentorship, empowerment and practical opportunities. These investments help young people recognise their agency and participate more fully in community development.
International Youth Day provides an opportunity to celebrate their energy while renewing the commitment to include youth voices in programmes and partnerships.
